A message from Silvia R. Tandeciarz

Building on our longstanding partnership with Argentina’s Comisión Provincial por la Memoria (Memory Commission), one of Latin America’s premier human rights organizations, William & Mary launched this summer our inaugural Human Rights Intern Fellowships. Thanks to generous funding from our partners*, five undergraduate students received fellowship awards that enabled them to travel to Argentina and spend six weeks engaged in hands-on work with Comisión staff to address human rights issues, past and present. Read about their experiences below.

*With deepest thanks to our inaugural sponsors: Reves Center, Charles Center, Government Department, Global Research Institute, Hispanic Studies Program, Public Policy Program
